Valerie Marshall

Valerie Marshall is an artist and architect based in Toronto and Helsinki; she completed her Master of Architecture degree at the University of Toronto, where she studied as an Ontario Graduate Scholar and was awarded the Faculty Design Prize. Her art practice uses traditional architectural drafting techniques to explore contemporary issues relating to the built environment. Valerie has exhibited locally and internationally and been awarded funding from the Toronto Arts Council. Valerie has collaborated extensively with firms, designers, and clients in North America, Central America, and Europe on a range of projects including competitions, master-planning, infill architecture, heritage conservation, adaptive re-use, installation, exhibition, publication, and illustration.
